 "Live" Water Training in Virginia - March 3, 2000 Skydive the Point in Westpoint, Virginia will be having "live" water training, necassary for obtaining a USPA "B" license or higher. The training will be on Friday, March 3 at 7 p.m. in the heated pool of the Tuckahoe YMCA, Richmond, Virginai. You can find directions on their website. Senior Rigger at Skydive Chicago - February 22 - March 1, 2000 Skydive Chicago is offering a 9 day senior rigger course February 22 - March 1. This is just prior to the Winter Expo. The course director is Kirk Smith, a master rigger and DPRE. There are still a few slots available. Ladies Night at Z-Hills, Florida - February 18-20, 2000 There will be a Women's Night Record Jump at Skydive City in Zephyrhills. The event is organized by Tanya Hannington. Contact skycity@gte.net for more information and to register.
Static-Line Jumpmaster Training Camp - February 27, 2000 There will be a Static-Line Jumpmaster Training Camp on February 27 at Skydive Illinois. Learn the techniques used in static-line handling, student dressing, equipment checks, teaching freefall maneuvers, and the basics to work on your proficiency card. They don't just talk about good training methods and programs - they follow through! You will be doing actual static-line jumps. IB Course - Skydive Toronto, Ontario, Canada - March 10-12, 2000 If you are interested in taking an IB course on March 10-12 weekend at Skydive Toronto please contact Joe Chow immediately by phone at 705-424-9437. Payment for the course will need to be received within the next few weeks to guarantee your slot and slots are going quickly.
4-Way Teams Organizing - February
13, 2000Members of the teams "Frost" and "Z-Spot" will be available at Skydive City in Zephyrhills, Florida, to organize 4 Way teams for an individual event geared towards juniors, but everyone is welcome. The costs willbe $30 for video and 4 jump tickets. Teams will be drawn before the rounds so that your individual score counts for the total.
Freefly Skills Camp - February
25-27, 2000Skydive San Marcos will be hosting a Freefly skills camp with the infamous
Heath Richard of (Elsinore's) Psycho Circus on February 25-27. They have
already had a lot of interest and secured slots. Slots are numbered so
