| Pennsylvania Championships of Sport Accuracy On August 18 - 20, Skydive Pennsylvania and the City of Greenville, PA, will host the first Pennsylvania Championships of Sport Accuracy and a boogie to commemorate Stephan Banic (inventor of an early parachute design). Greenville Airport is one hour and twenty minutes north of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, approximately 45 minutes from Youngstown Ohio, or 45 minutes south of Erie, PA.
A cash purse of $2700 has been raised and the pot is growing. The distribution of prize money will be $500 for first place and fifty dollars less for each place up to tenth. The competition will be directed by USPA National Director James Hayhurst. Rules for competition can be found at USPA's web site. Aircraft will include a Caravan, a Twin Bonanza, and 182s as needed. A CASA is booked tentatively upon results of the 300 way attempts.

| Gravity Pirate's Speed Skydiving Competition The Gravity Pirate's Speed Skydiving Competition at the Canadian Freefall Film Festival is coming up. Be at Skydive Burnaby from July 21st through 23rd and help them celebrate Freefly in Canada!
Fast is Fun! There's a $75 (cdn) cash prize plus a $300 (cdn) discount coupon for a Protrack for the fastest and slowest skydivers. Also, remember to keep those cameras rolling and submit your freefly video for the film competition! | European Cup 16-Way in France The Skydiving Club Brienne le Chateau (former La Ferté Gaucher) in France will hold its traditional 16-way event. Training will be from August 21 until August 23, and European Cup from August 24 to August 26. A Twin Otter and a Casa 235 will be flying. This club is well known for its Saturday night mad party! | 6th Tomscat Trophy in Holland On the weekend of June 10-12, 2000, Paracentrum Hoogeveen in Holland organized the 6th Tomscat Trophy. A FS-4 competition in remembrance of the two lost members of Tomscat in a 1992 Perris Otter crash.
Winner of the international category was Dutch Fource [Bert Hajee, Paul Hofstee, Pim Pennock, Meus van de Poel, Remco de Borst (cameraflyer)]. They scored a new Dutch record 20 points in Round 4 with the jump: Q, A, P, 7. In the national category Terminal Anarchy was winner with 45 points over nine rounds.
