Black and Gold Parachuting Competition
November 17-19, 2000Attention military skydivers! The United States Army Parachute Team, the "Golden Knights," is holding their second Black and Gold Parachuting Competition, scheduled for November 17-19, 2000, at Raeford, North Carolina. There are three events to compete in: 4-way formation skydiving, 8-way speed formation skydiving, and accuracy. The competition is only open to active-duty military, reserve or national guard personnel in any branch of service. The event is not open to individual ready reservists, civilians or military dependants. All events will be judged by qualified USPA judges from the "Golden Knights." |

Personnel that do not meet the minimum requirements to compete - either by lack of jumps or lack of team members - may still participate in a relative work seminar. The seminar, hosted by the "Golden Knights," will be conducted during the competition and will include instruction on RW techniques, jump evaluation, and RW load organizing.
Personnel or teams wishing to participate in the competition or the seminar must be registered no later than November 17. There is no registration fee, and aircraft will be provided by the "Golden Knights." Anyone wishing to register early can download the registration forms from their web site at www.usarec.army.mil/hq/GoldenKnights/. | Scrambled Ags RW Competition The Texas A&M Aggies Skydiving Club will be holding their annual Scrambled Ags RW Competition at Skydive Houston November 18, 2000.
The event is open to all teams, 3-way plus video (Aggie 4-way). The event will feature a full day of RW competition with food, beer and a live band on Saturday night. Skydive Houston is home to the "SUN" Super Twin Otter, C-182, team houses, in-ground swimming pool, indoor air conditioning, heated packing area, Swoop cafe and more! |
