Results of the Gasp Tracking Contest
Submitted by Skydive SpacelandThe Last Gasp Tracking Contest was held at Skydive Spaceland in Rosharon, Texas on Sunday, May 28. The winner in the "with booties" division was David Johnson, who convincingly led the field, with only Jeff Smith of Austin coming close. In the "without booties" division, Graham Patterson (formerly of Austin, now in Houston) won handily, edging out Super Dave. The winners received appropriately gaudy trophies and $100 cash, not opting for the challenge jumps, and are now relegated to the judging staff for the next three years. The party at the judging van was presided over by Tom Jenkins, and a good time was had by all. Congratulations guys! Track on! |
| America's Cup is Coming to Skydive Houston The America's Cup is coming to Skydive Houston in Waller, Texas on June 9-11, 2000!-- and so is the CASA! -- Tailgate your tail off! This competition will have the Golden Knights and Arizona Airspeed -- winner of the US Nationals 1999 and World Champions 1999. There will be Big Way loads with organizers Ron Mills and Pat Van Bibber. Later, enjoy the party with free beer, and more! |
