Jan Davis Memorial Skydive - November 6, 1999 Jan died on October 22, 1999 while making a BASE jump from El Capitan at the Yosemite National Park in California.Please join Tom and Jan's family at Skydive Elsinor in California to celebrate this beautiful lady's loving and everlasting spirit. There will be food and beverages served all day long in a special tent set up in Jan's honor. You will all have the opportunity to view her unique beauty through Tom's pictures and videos.
A day of skydiving will culminate in a memorial sunset jump where Jan's ashes will be dispersed. As night falls, more food and drinks will be served, music will play, and friends and family will share their special memories of Jan.

Airspeed Skills Camp - November 20 - 28, 1999 Come to Skydive Arizona and learn from the World Champions 1999! Members of Arizona Airspeed will coach from basic skills to advanced techniques. The Airspeed Skills Camp will run eight days of six jumps per day with a one-day break. The curriculum focuses on the skills necessary for all manner of formation skydiving. Basic body flight, randoms, block technique, exits, swooping, tracking, and team work. Skydivers will enter the program at their demonstrated level and train with others of their experience.

The camp will focus on learning in an atmosphere of fun. Much attention is paid to the skill of learning and working together as a team. There will be a maximum of eight skydivers per Airspeed coach, giving each person one on one attention on every jump. The coaches and skydivers will be rotated throughout the camp in an effort to bring out the best from each person. The cost is $525 plus cost of jumps.

PD's John LeBlanc canopy seminar in Colorado - December 4, 1999 PD's John LeBlanc will be in Colorado for a canopy flying seminar Saturday
December 4, 1999, at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Open to the
public. The program will begin at 9:30am with a presentation by Skratch Garrison on spotting and exit order as well as RW techniques. John LeBlanc will speak at 10:00am on all types of canopy control, from student to expert. The seminar will take place at the 98th Flying Training Squadron on Talon Drive. 21st Annual Chili Party - December 4-5, 1999 The Archway Skydiving Center in Vandalia, Illinois is hosting the "21st Annual Chili Party". There will be $13 jumps from our Caravan,a free Chili supper and no registration fee. As Always, you are welcome to partake in their good vibes and great skydives. This annual event has been bringing skydivers together for more than 20 years!

Helicopter Jumps Visit to the best weather DZ in Washington State for Helicopter jumps on November 20th and 21st. Richland Skysports will be hosting a Bell Jet Ranger for jumps from 8,500 feet for $35.

Night Jumps in Daytona Beach Saturday (11/20/99) evening "Skydive Daytona Beach will be doing night jumps. Everbody who needs a night jump for the C-License or wants to practice for the Millennium Jump can join them. And on November 25-28th there will be a Thanksgiving Boogie.
Video Seminar by Carl Carpenter - November 20 - 21, 1999 Skydive USA will host a video seminar by Carl Carpenter in November during the "Scrambled Ags" meet. This is a complete seminar intended to teach new vidiots and and improve the skills of those who already shoot. Carl is quite an accomplished photographer and his work speaks for itself. All topics covered from basics to advanced, safety, film work, composition, editing, etc.
Jump for the Claws - Perris Valley Skydiving, CA - November 27, 1999On Saturday, November 27, 1999 there will be a special "Jump for the Paws" event at Perris Valley Skydiving to raise money for local animal shelters. The program will be: - On site pet adoptions

Indiana Water Training - November 12, 1999Skydive First in Crawfordsville, IN (1 hour west of Indianapolis) will be holding live water training at the local high school swimming pool. This training is required to progress beyond an A license. Date: Friday November 12 Time: 6:00-8:00
Cost: $8.00 This covers all expenses. You will need to bring your own towel.
