Certification Course Millennium Skydiving in Kankakee, IL will be definitely hosting an AFF Certification Course this September. Here are the details:
Date: September 23-October 1
Venue: Millennium Skydiving, Kankakee, IL
Aircraft: Cessna Grand Caravan
Pre Cse: September 18-22

Basic Instructional Course
Geoff Peggs of the Kansas State University Parachute Club is getting together a list of people that would like to take their BIC (Basic Instructional Course) in Manhattan, Kansas. If you would like to receive your jumpmaster rating, you will need to take this course. You must be B-license qualified in order to take this course. Mike Marthaller has agreed to teach the BIC, and they need more participants.
Registration for the course is $50, and you will also need to order your materials from USPA. If you are interested, please e-mail Geoff at gjp9883@ksu.edu.
Helicopter Flights There will be a helicopter at Cleveland Parachute in Ohio, September 23-24. Jump out or just go for a observation ride. Billy Bird and Red Horse Aviation will bring their helicopter, a restored and Viet Nam-flown Cobra. For more information check out their web site at www.clevelandparachute.com.
