Here we'll show you every month a small collection of useful, useless and funny or whacko sites on the Web which are always worth a visit on rainy days. Enjoy!!

Hey Potato!

I can already hear a collective sigh of disappointment from potato lovers everywhere. You'll find no Idaho Russets or Irish spuds here. This site is actually a cleverly named guide to online cartoons and animation.

Entertain yourself with hundreds of offbeat and original productions that you won't see on TV or in the comic book store. Move over Goofy, make way for Lump, The "No-Legged" Dog. Hot Potato highlights a particularly entertaining choice every week.

The rest of the selections are listed alphabetically by name. Some are funny, some are stupid, some are cute, some are sick and twisted. The only way to find out is to watch, but fortunately, there's a review and screenshot of each cartoon, plus a rating system, so at least you aren't clicking blindly. Warning: Not all of these cartoons are appropriate for kids!

You Do Voodoo

You Do Voodoo?

Let 'em know you care. In a very negative way, that is. Pinstruck.com lets you send a voodoo curse to an e-victim, a personalized wish for no good. You just fill out the form -- including their name, appearance, and a selected message -- and they'll soon receive an e-warning with an option to click on the link. If and when they do, they'll see a personalized effigy complete with pins. It's all in fun, of course. Surely.

Pollstar

For nearly 20 years, Pollstar has been the leading publisher for the music concert industry. Thanks to its Web site, Pollstar.com, the world's largest database of international concert information is now on the Net. And you can tap into this database without being a promoter, roadie, agent, manager, or rock star.

Scour a staggering 40,000 events featuring over 5,000 artists in just a few clicks of your mouse. The database is searchable by artist, city, or venue. There is also plenty of other music-related content available, like concert news, articles, interviews, reviews, and a list of the most popular tours according to Internet users. A real must for any music fan!
