Poo Smith will join Fiona McEachern and Adrian Lloyd in the FS coaching for people wanting to do everything from star crests to experienced big way loads. Fiona is particularly well known for her novice 16-way camps. But it doesn't stop there; legendary Jonathan King (gold medallist at the World skydiving championships 2000) will be available for the freeflyers, and talks are in progress now to include the freefly team Buzz i.e. James Evered, Izzi Wheeler and Mark Gazley, in our impressive line-up.

Jump planes will be a Skyvan, a Caravan, a Porter, and they will even have Hot Air Balloons on side. To top the boogie right off, there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs including 50% off a Javelin container from Sunpath, 50% off a Talon container from Parachutes Australia, jumpsuits from Tads and Airsuits, goodies from Total Control and Larsen & Brusgaard and much more. |
Rego forms and information about accommodation is available via email at boogie@skydive.com.au or by phoning the Skydive Express on 94444199. Register before March 31, 2001 to go in the draw for a great prize. For more information visit www.skydive.com.au
Pink Boogie at Lake Weissensee, Austria February 24-25, 2000 |
It's this time of the year again, and if lake is frozen there will be another Pink Boogie at the Weissensee in Austria February 22-25. Start and landing area will be the lake, which is surrounded by 2000 meter [6500 ft] height mountains of the Carinthian Alps. Skydiving above the snowy Alps is as much as an experience as the touch down on the frozen lake. And only if warm weather sets in the boogie will have to move to the nearby town of Linz, which has a paved runway. |

The community of Weissensee welcomes the skydivers as every year, and they are well known for their hospitality. Early room reservations are recommended. So if you are one of the tough guys that doesn't mind to jump in ice and snow, get your gear ready for a trip to the Austrian Alps. For more information and boogie reports from the past years check out the IPPC's website at www.pink.at. Information about the region can be found at www.weissensee.at. |
Mardi Gras Boogie in Moss Point February 23-26, 2001Gold Coast Skydivers in Moss Point, Mississippi will be hosting their 7th annual Mardi Gras Boogie February 23-26, a boogie that every year rocks the gulf coast. A $10 registration fee covers your boogie packet, your entry for prize drawings, free beer and pizza Saturday night along with a rocking DJ. Lots of hotels are within five minutes of the DZ and they all offer a skydiver discount. Check out their website at www.goldcoastskydivers.com for local telephone numbers. And if you are interested in participating in a new women's state record, contact Jennifer Jones at skyjenn@home.com. Their overall state record is 31, so that shouldn't be hard to beat, and they'll certainly have the lift capacity. |
