Tour director Jim Slaton explains, "The tour is made up of extreme canopy competitions in speed, accuracy & distance. We consider these three parts of the swoop the most important, so we focus in on each of them individually. The competitions in this tour are designed to test the skill & overall performance of the pilot".

The Para-Performance Pro Tour has a total of four competition tour stops and is sanctioned by the E.C.P.A (Extreme Canopy Pilot's Association). Pro Tour chief judge Karine Leblond explains, "The tour is not invitational but requires all pilots to register and receive a classification. In addition, the tour will hold intermediate competitions during some events to allow new pilots an opportunity to get on the tour". The tour is also establishing an information exchange center for canopy pilots called, "The Swoop Zone". The information center will soon be available as part of Skydive Elsinore`s web page. Canopy pilots will be able to get information about all circuit news, rules, rankings, competition dates, locations, and competitor records, ect.

The 2001 Pro Tour stops include:
Para-Performance Pro Cup - May 25-27 Skydive Elsinore, California/USA
Para-Performance World Games - Nov 1-4 Skydive Elsinore, California/USA
Para-Performance World Cup - International
Para-Performance Games - International

The Para-Performance Pro Tour will include:
