Ekstremsportveko 2000 in Norway
June 18-25, 2000Get away and a taste of extreme sports diversity at the Ekstremsportveko 2000 [Extreme Sports Week] in Voss, Norway. Voss is located in the mountain regions in the western part of Norway not far from the city of Bergen. There will be competitions in skydiving, BASE, kayaking, skating, paragliding and rafting. |

Skydiving activities will be located at Bømoen airport 4 km from Voss. Bømoen is also the main camp. Aircraft will be an Antonov-28 and a helicopter for the swooping contest. The skydiving program includes freeflying, accuracy and swooping. On the weekend of June 24-25, the Norwegian 4-way Cup will be held.
A very cool offer is "Try It" to those who always have dreamed about trying, but never have had the chance to have a go. Grab it now! "Try It" is based on an introductory course in each of the extreme sports. On top of this, they will take you to the best competitions and social happenings during the week. Monkey Claw Freefly Jam
May 26-29, 2000The First Monkey Claw Freefly Jam of 2000 will be taking place May 26-29 at Skydive Cross Keys in New Jersey, USA. This Jam will feature guest load organizers, high altitudes, tube dives, tracking dives, big-ways, the Super Casa, a Super Otter, food, drink, parties, a band, a DJ, and more! Camping is allowed on the DZ, and there are plenty of hotels nearby. Contact Monkey Claw about lodging and travel. |

Peanuts Drunk Fest 2000
by Terry - tandmterry@aol.comRain or shine, Drunk Fest is really going to happen! The fest begins Friday, June 2 at 6 p.m. and will continue through Sunday, June 4, until sunset. This event will be held at Skydive First in Crawfordsville, Indiana (about 45 minutes north of Indy). If it rains, the party begins when you wake up, otherwise the drinking begins at sunset and will continue all night.

Come meet and skydive with the one and only Peanut from the newsgroup. The horny gorillas are going to get pretty wild so we highly recommend Protec Helmets (not required).
Here are some of the events planned for Saturday night:
1) Pin the sheep tail on the Peanut.
2) 100 Octane Hot Potato Game
3) Complimentary Dinner (cheap food)
4) Pie the DZO, if you can run quick enough.
5) Naked Night Jumps (if enough are sober)
6) Free Beer
7) Watch Peanut try to get laid at the nudie bar...hehehe
8) Bonfire
Also enter to win a Master Blaster! The drawing will be held around the bonfire at 3 am. Winner must be present to win. Just in case "officer friendly" shows up looking for Peanut, we ask that everybody keep a dozen donuts in their coolers to try and get Peanut out of jail.
For lift power, there will be a CASA based there all weekend. So come jump the tailgate. Jump numbers don't matter, just leave the egos at home. No skygods allowed!
