The Harvest Moon Boogie October 12-15, 2000The Harvest Moon Boogie at Blue Sky Adventures in St. George, South Carolina, is back and better than ever! The Carolina Sky Sports Super CASA and their own King Air will be turnin' loads like never before! They will have it all this year, 4-way and 8-way organizers, big-way organizers, and Freefly! Digital video on every load!
The CASA will arrive in St. George at 4:00 pm on Thursday afternoon! Come on out for a Thursday jump! Jan Puckett will be hosting a free 4-way RW seminar after sunset load on Thursday in the hangar.
World champion and record holders, Carl Daughtery, Steve Lapp, Jan Puckett and their own "wild-man" Wally West will be out to organize some hot RW skydives. John Skinner of Generation Freefly will be organizing freefly skydives! There will be RW and freefly seminars! How about an South Carolina state record?
The registration fee is $15.00 and there will be $16.00 jumps all day Friday and $18.00 to 13,500' jumps on Saturday and Sunday! Parties will be held Friday and Saturday night with catered dinner and The Virgil Cain Band on Saturday night. They've got plenty of space for free camping, and bathrooms and showers. There is gonna be fun for all skill levels, so go out and let's jump! They are gonna have free beer, boogie bags, and many prizes! Kenya Boogie in Malindi November 4-11, 2000 will be the 11th annual Kenya Skydiving Boogie. The boogie is located on the beautiful Watamu coastline, with the base operation run from Malindi airport. Skydivers have options of landing back at the airport or onto the beach (tide permitting) at Hemingways Hotel. The airport has a student landing area. |

The Super Twin Otter takes 20 skydivers to 13,500+ (many of the lifts going higher). Jump prices are US $20 for 30+ or US $24 if less. Packing and rigging services are available. Tandem jumps are available which include a beach landing at Hemingways, along with video and stills options.
Malindi is located on the Indian Ocean around 70 miles north of Mombasa. AirKenya provides connecting flights from both Nairobi and Mombasa. The flight time from Nairobi is approximately one hour, from Mombasa about 30 minutes.
What is the approximate cost? From the USA, for example, a package price for this event includes round trip airfare from Philadelphia to Nairobi, all air and ground transportation in Kenya and Tanzania, club up Kilimanjaro, four-day safari in the Masi Mara, followed by eight days at Hemmingway's, a five-star beach resort, all lodging, hotels and transfers, 10 jumps from Super Otter.
