Wind Tunnel with World Champions in France
by Manu Ars - www.veloce-skydive.comVeloce, freefall and Freestyle coaching school is organizing Wind Tunnel training sessions during the fall and winter in Lille (North of France, next to the Channel and next to Belgium border), with World class FS skydivers.
You will have the unique opportunity to fly 3-way with Martial Ferré (French 4-way world champion), Manu Ars (French 8-way world medalist), and Thierry Boitieux (French 4-way world champion), or discover the the basics of body flight/FS for beginners (from newbie to low-time jumper or difficult learner).
Sessions will be organized over two days, start at noon on day one, and end at 6 p.m. on day two. 1st day at the Maubeuge DZ to prepare the activity, teach freefall position, build jumps, etc. 2nd day to ride the wind at the Lille wind tunnel. This wind tunnel is dedicated to scientific experiments but we have special agreements to organize skydiving sessions in it.
Night and meals are arranged for you, just come with your skydiving licence and jumpsuit, we will propose licenses to beginners if they come with a medical certificate for skydiving activity.
Skydivers registrating for 3-way will have one hour of freefall: 20 times three minutes in the wind, 13 times with one coach and another relativer, 7 times with two other relativers. Low time jumpers or newbies will have half an hour of freefall : 10 times three minutes in the wind with one coach.
Teams (complete or not) are welcomed, we will arrange the 3-ways for you to fly most of the time with your teammates.

3-way:
60' in the wind (39' with a coach)
+ 2 breakfast + 2 lunches + 1 diner + 1 night

2-way learning:
30' in the wind (30' with a coach)
+ 2 breakfast + 2 lunches + 1 diner + 1 night
450 Euros (2 951.81 FF)
Discovery, preparing AFF:
30' in the wind (30' with a coach)

| The Search II Skydive University in Sebastian, Florida will hold its second "Search" February 15-19, 2001.
They will select 50 skydivers based on their drive and enthusiasm. To enter, you only need to hold an A license and tell Skydive University why you should be selected.
Participants will receive discounted Skydive University coached jumps, product demonstrations and free seminars on packing, canopy control, competitive performance, and psychology of the sport. Registration is free, and there will also be a free prize drawing and the opportunity for discounted, coached wind tunnel time.
All the manufacturers who participated this year plan to return next year, along with sports psychologist Dr. John DeRosalia and a host of experienced Skydive University instructors.
