| First Annual "Jerry Bird" Boogie The First Annual "Jerry Bird" Boogie at Skydive Greenville, South Carolina will take place August 25-27. The boogie will feature 20- and 30-ways with a Super Otter and King Air. Organizers will be available for all levels. High altitude jumps will be available. Be ready because the first load takes off at 12 noon on Friday!
Plan on partying on Saturday night with a catered BBQ rib or chicken dinner for only $10 per person and all-you-can-drink beer! For those who wish to camp on site, there is plenty of camping room available. | Jump your A** Off Weekend September 2-4 is the "Jump your A** Off Weekend" at Skydive Orange, Virginia. Plan to be there and be in the first load off the ground at 6:30 a.m. on September 2. Free Coffee and donuts!
See John Wakelin try to make it on every single load that day. They are shooting for 30! Hybrid Sit Fly/Belly Fly Scrambles begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. These mixed discipline dives will be organized by Mark Vojtko. There will be free traditional RW organizing by Vojtko on September 3. As usual, Orange will be flying the Otter.

| POPS National Championships and Boogie A Freedom Jam will be held at Skydive Cross Keys in New Jersey is hosting this year's POPS National Championships and Boogie September 9-16. "It's going to be the biggest POPS Nationals," predicts the event coordinator Vern Reo. Reo says he's lining up name organizers, world record attempts, pond swooping, a freefly exhibition event and balloon jumps. But don't worry, the traditional events will be there too: accuracy, hit and rock, and a 4-way scrambles. |
