Arizona Airspeed Skills Camp at The Ranch
August 21-25, 2000

If you are a belly flyer and want to learn all the latest and greatest techniques about swooping, diving, floating, turning, sliding, fall rate control, tracking and just good old RW skills, the second Ranch Airspeed RW week training week August 21-25 is for you. Only 16 lucky people can attend, and every year so far has been filled.

This camp is open to all levels. You must have at least 80 jumps and be able to do some RW. Everyone is grouped together based on skill level and than coached by both Craig and Kirk from Airspeed. The Ranch is covering all video slots and coaches' jumps.
 
Don't miss this great chance to do some great training and move to the next level in RW. There are a few slots open for those lucky ones that call and reserve first. Call manifest at (914) 255 9538 and get all the details.

"Distant Thunder" at Lodi
September 2, 2000

"Distant Thunder" is back! And it's going to be Saturday, September 2, 2000, at the Parachute Center Lodi, California. There will be a 20-way captain's draw, and preregistration is highly recommended. You must meet C license requirements to compete or just be off student status to jump.
 
Also, there will be some disabled skydivers from around the country present. Some of them are Pieces of Eight. There is also an invitation to first time disabled skydivers. Displays of adaptive equipment for different sports and media attention will be featured. All proceeds will go to "Disabled Sports USA", Motherlode Chapter. These guys run a Adaptive Ski Program at Bear Valley CA. They are growing and they need your support. There will also be a raffle with prizes, party, T-shirts, dinner, and much more.

Orly King Freefly Tour at Pepperell, MA

Orly King will be at Pepperell as part of his freefly tour around the country. He will be bringing demo equipment from Javelin, Icarus and Precision Aerodynamics. He will be here during the New England Boogie from August 24-27, and will be available all day for coaching. Freefly coached jumps with Orly complete with a video will be $65 per jump.
 
Orly is a two-time world champion freestyle cameraflyer and winner of the 1999 exhibition freefly meet during the Nationals last year at Skydive Sebastian. To help coordinate, please e-mail Paula at paula@skyjump.com if you are interested in jumping with Orly on any of those dates.
