    Arizona Skydiving Coolidge now has a grass landing area. The grass is green, plush, and very well established so all the jumpers that disliked the desert on their canopies now have a very clean place to land. Coolidge is open every day, all jumps every day $10 to 13,500' from the fastest jumpship in the country, Mike Mullins Super King Air. For more information check out their website.

    A group of skydivers located at Chicagoland Skydiving are preparing training camps for the 2001 season for Illinois skydivers and neighbouring areas. Goal is to improve skills and join the Midwest Skydiving League. More details and contact information at www.skyleague.com.

    The competition schedule of the new Golden Knights 4-way team has been published. It is posted and commented at the NSL website at www.skyleague.com. The Knights will be competing in three different NSL leagues this year.

    The Formation Skydiving Committee of the International Parachuting Commission has completed its homework for the 2000 season. The report for 2000 has been posted, together with the rules proposals for 2001 at www.fai.org/parachuting/committees/fs/.

    Suncoast Skydiving at Wauchula, Florida, (east of Sarasota/Bradenton) is organizing Twin Otter loads onto the beach in Sarasota, Florida on Saturday, February 24. Suncoast Skydiving is a small, laid-back DZ with lots of friendly folks, warm sunshine, and no long waits for a load.     Parchute de France has a new canopy on the market, the Electra. The canopy is available in the sizes 130, 150, 170, 190 and 210 sqf.
