On January 9 the Los Angeles police arrested a BASE jumper after he leaped from a skyscraper and landed on their squad car. The 29-year-old has been charged with trespass after the jump from a building on Wilshire Boulevard. The jumper landed safely but a headlight on the police car was broken during the incident.

The folks at Millennium Skydiving in Illinois have decided to keep the dropzone open all year. For the remainder of the winter season, they will be open on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting.
